Cups To Help People is a series of ceramic vessels that uses humor and play to disrupt logical thinking patterns and the way we relate to the everyday objects in our lives. One morning I knocked this beautiful cup (first image) off my counter into my sink and it broke a little V-shaped chip from the rim. I was sad because I had just purchased this cup from a friend, but then thought, maybe I could still drink out of it. I held it up to my mouth and realized the V-shaped chip fit perfect around my nose and I had an idea, I should make cups for people with big noses. This then led to the making of an entire series of cups designed to help a variety of people.
